Located close to the walled ‘Pink City', spectacular forts, and all the unique shopping bazaars of Jaipur, the Palace unveils the rich culture and history of the erstwhile rulers of Rajasthan.

Built in 1835 as a hunting lodge, converted to a palace in 1925 as the residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur and finally converted as India's first palace hotel in 1957. An architectural masterpiece, Rambagh presents a fine blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture.

Sensitively restored to its former glory with refurbished rooms overlooking courtyards with fountains or verdant gardens, airy verandahs, idyllic front lawns and a warm intimate lobby, guests relive the royal lifestyle at Rambagh.

In addition, personalized butlers are there throughout the Palace who are knowledgeable hosts to modern day Maharajas.

Accommodation at Rambagh Palace :

Rambagh Palace offers 90 rooms including aesthetically restored suites, which were the chambers of the former Maharaja. Use of rich fabrics and silk drapes draw from the colourful art and warm hues of the state of Rajasthan. Luxury rooms, Historical Suites and theme royal and grand Royal Suites present accommodation befitting royalty.

An ideal destination for meetings in historical surroundings, Rambagh Palace offers banquet facilities for smaller meetings of around 50 participants within the Palace building and 350 – 600 delegates at the adjacent SMS Function Centre. Having played host to worldwide CEOs and famous international personalities, the Palace is ideal for renewal of wedding vows in princely grandeur.

ROYAL SUITES

Some of these suites have been the personal chambers of the Maharaja of Jaipur. The beautiful architecture and sumptuous décor will transport guest to the bygone era of the Royalty. Includes all the guest amenities from above.

GRAND ROYAL SUITES

The redesigned Suryavanshi Suite and Prince's Suite were part of the personal chambers of the royal family. Carefully restored with period furniture and large French windows overlooking the Rambagh gardens, the Suryavanshi Suite provides a glimpse into the royal lifestyle of the princes. Many international dignitaries, celebrities, heads of state have had memorable experiences during their stay at the Suryavanshi Suite, which offers a large lounge overlooking the gardens, extending on to a terrace, a royal dining room and a master bedroom with a dressing area and a spacious walk in wardrobe. The fully refurbished Prince's Suite will be ready by October' 04.
