For the past 12 weeks we have given you various reasons to head to Turkey. We told you about the green glades, the ancient mountains and the blue seas that lace the land. You can go skiing, you can take your own yacht and sail forever, you can climb mountains and touch the clouds, you can shop till you drop, find your faith in the mosques and the churches. You can look at ornate palaces and have the best kebabs and flaky baklavas. Obviously, you cannot holiday all your life and not all of you might want the same reason to holiday. So, decide what you want to see and pick your tour package.
ISTANBUL TOUR:
Go on a Bosporus cruise, shop at the Grand Covered Bazaar that has 4,000 shops, look at the blue Mosque, Topkaki Palace, Rumeli Fortress, St. Sophia basilica and Dolmabache Palace.
CULTURAL HERITAGE TOUR:
Visit the Jewish neighborhood Galata and walk in for a divine experience in any synagogue. Check out Hippodrome, a third century site where chariots raced or the Blue Mosque famous for its blue tiles and six minarets…
THERMAL AND HEALTH TOUR:
Go to the Sivas Kangal Thermal Fish Spring, Which is said to cure people of several skin diseases. You can also head out of Balcova Thermal Resort, the largest thermal treatment centre in the country.
CAVE HOTELS:
You might have stayed in five star hotels but the experience of living in rooms carved out of rocks can be quite an out-of-the-world experience. And only in Turkey would you find caves turned into snazzy hotels.
ANKARA AND CAPPADOCIA TOUR:
As you head towards the Anatolian region, look at the famous Salt Lake. The journey will take you through the fabled Silk Route with the next stop being Kaymaki, a hideout carved by the Christians to escape persecutors. It is from here that you can see the famous fairy chimneys carved out of volcanic rocks.
AEGEAN AREA TOUR:
